GLOBAL ANALYSIS ENGINEER–  PERMANENT – SURREY

Our Client, an offshore oil and gas contractor, is currently looking for two Global Analysis Engineers to join the team on an exciting Floating Wind project.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

• Degree qualified engineer with design experience in offshore floating wind structures.
• Deep understanding of hydrodynamics, floater motions and fully coupled analyses.
• Design calculations using engineering software, including, Orcaflex and FastHydro.
• Familiarity with integrated load assessment, combined wind and wave analysis in the time domain.
• Understanding of WTG controller and tuning will be a benefit.
• OrcaFlex, FastHydro.
• Knowledge of codes and standards, including, DNV and IEC.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be using your Orcaflex and FastHydro skills to perform design calculations with engineering software.
