- Lead the procurement and logistics managers
- Manager the implementation of sourcing strategies and projects by liaising and collaborating with business Units.
- Act as the central point of contact for all communications related to supply chain. This includes the development, implementation, communication of standard policies, processes and procedures, best practice and compliance, progress reporting and issue resolution
- Collaborate and co-ordinate with staff, other departments, senior management committees and decision makers to share information, interpret/ problem solve, clarify procurement objectives and provide guidance on staff training.
- Ensure that Legal Dept is involved in interpreting and drafting risks and providing guidance on contractual decisions and Collaborate with Legal to ensure that suppliers are placed on contractual terms for non-performance or poor performance.
- Ensure that competitive terms are monitored. Monitor suppliers and internal personnel satisfaction with company’s terms and conditions and contracting practices. Monitor and maintain contractual records/documentation, compliance and record findings.
- Work with Engineering and Quality departments to establish supply chain for new parts
- 10 years’ experience in Supply Chain (Procurement & Warehouse Mgmt)
- Experience with international buying and INCO terms
- Willing to travel as needed to support products and evaluate suppliers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and supply chain ERP System
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Strong understanding of cost accounting for manufacturing.
