Our client seeks an experienced ASE SIMOPS Supervisor to join their office in Angola for a 12 months (rotational) contract.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Promote company's values & safety culture within the project and managed activities. Lead by example, coach team members and colleagues to adhere and contribute.
• Ensure safe and ethical working practices are carried out within managed or interface activities.
• Be conversant with latest revision of company's referential, ensure these and local rules/laws are
  complied with and captured within contractual requirements.
• Contribution to the reporting of anomalies and incidents and participate as well to diagnosis and corrective actions.
• Offshore follow-up of the HSE activities to control the implementation HSE policy of the asset.
• Control of behaviour of the individuals on site with respect to HSE.
• Ensure the strict follow up and control the implementation of the process and mitigation identified within SIMOPS Dossiers covering the different scope of work.
• Participation of the work permits, risk assessments, safety & integrity audits and their follow-up.
• Participate on Cause Tree Analysis (CTA) for High Potential incidents and anomalies, preparation of reports and presentation of them to onshore management if required.
• Maintain up to date of the reporting database Synergy with the incidents / events occurring within LIFEX perimeter in compliance with the company rules.
• Follow up of the main safety indicators (LTIf, TRIR, anomaly cards, downgraded situations, OIW, GHG).
• Identification of Hazards on site and participation to search of solutions or compensatory measures to be taken.
• Carry out of site safety audits (permit, safety equipment standard, scaffolding, lifesaving check etc.).
• Maintain up to date of the follow-up of the safety audits and the progress of the actions.
• Follow-up of the clearance of the anomaly cards, organizing progress meetings and setting priorities for the various disciplines.
• Advice with regards to the content of safety training required for SIMOPS activities.
• Control of the safety organization on-site belonging to LIFEX perimeter and the plan of actions.
• Check validation, certification, induction conducted for all stakeholder regarding SIMOPS activities.
• Activities under SIMOPS to detailed, discussed and coordinates with site (RSES ? D and IASE).
• Provide training courses and or Induction to LIFEX newcomers.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

• To Contribute to the revisions of the site Safety Instructions and procedures to ensure compliance with the COMPANY HSE policy and company rules.
• To Control the CONTRACTOR responsible for the SIMOPS operations and JRA/Action plan associated.
• To report any hazard not captured on JRA.
• To Report any discrepancies or change of management before site arrival to IASE or RSES-D / and Senior SIMOPS HSE.
• To Supervise the TBT during PTW opening to validate set up as per JRA and PTW detailed, and control knowledges of teams involved.
• To coordinate different ASE from stakeholders.
• To check all mitigations measures to be put in place (Confined Space, Hotwork, Painting/Blasting and Scaffolding).

MANDATORY TRAININGS

• BOSIET HUET.
• Basic Fire Fighting.
• Basic First Aid.
• Risk awareness and prevention .

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCES

• Professional Experience (years): 10 - 15 years .
• Experience in similar position (years): 10 years of experience. Participation to a recent deep-water project.
• Level / Diploma: Engineer, or equivalent .
• Languages: English, Portuguese
• Good communication skills, organizational skills and positive attitude.

CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT
PBF is the Brownfield project division of company's and benefits of a matrix organization. It's managing projects from FEED/Basic Engineering to Startup/ hand-over to Block Field Operation teams. The nature of the Brownfield projects, i.e. most of the execution activities offshore are executed in SIMOPS on live FPSOs (Girassol, Dalia, Pazflor, CLOV on Block 17 and Kaombo Norte and Sul on Block 32) and congested seabed, increases the risks and consequently the challenges of the projects (co-activities with other projects and maintenance activities, minimization of production shortfalls.).
PBF is managing EPCI contracts with major international Contractors but also local players including onshore prefabrication in Angola, offshore construction and Installation (FPSO modifications, SURF, SPS, SIMOPS, high number of contractors & subcontractors).
