Job Description
Job Rotation: 60/30 on-off duty
Location: Rig Site
Immediate Supervisor: Driller
Reviewing Supervisor: Rig Manager / Tool Pusher
Job Summary: The Loader Operator operates a XCMG wheel Loader 5 Ton; Loads and unloads equipment, materials and tubular delivered on trucks. Maintain clear access to rig, camp, material and equipment stored on drilling pad.
Job Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Personally responsible for own safety and conducting oneself to the standards of Company Policies and Procedures
Always wear and make sure you and everyone around you wears proper PPE
Safe Operation of Forklift when performing any duties involved when moving equipment or materials
Recognize, understand and use proper hand signals when operating forklift and insure the people working with you also understand and use the proper signals
Most importantly keep a good attitude and treat the people around you as you would like to be treated
Ensure understanding of, and compliance with permit to work system.
Develops and implements Job Safety Analyses and prepares risk assessments for critical tasks; implements applicable control measures including using Stop Work Authority, and Permit to Work system.
Participates in the Safety Training Observation Program (STOP).
Participates in the weekly, operational and pre-tour safety meetings.
Participates in safety training and all safety drills at the location
Report incident, accident, near miss to your direct supervisor and assist in incident investigation
Maintain good housekeeping at location at all time.
Record equipment operating information on daily report.
Maintain spare parts, oil and grease inventories
Operate front end loaders with forks, bucket and misc., attachments.
Organize store and inventory equipment on drilling pad.
Monitor and fuel auxiliary equipment.
Deliver tools and equipment from drilling pad to drilling rig.
Alert personnel when wildlife in on location.
Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on front end loader.
Maintain clear communications with relief, Driller, Rig Manager and crew members.
Follow company and client operating and reporting procedures.
Job Specifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Relevant up to date Certification.
Comply with HSE policies and procedures.
Complete all required training as per the Training Matrix.
Complete Competence system Scheme within 12 months of being assigned.
Valid driving license.
Valid forklift operator certification.
Profile Description
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior forklift experience.
Oilfield or related industry experience
