Activities

Key Purpose:

To nurture, maintain and manage good customer business relationships. The candidate will be accountable for enhancing the performance and position of TotalEnergies Marketing Botswana as a major player in the Retail Network environment.

The Sales & Marketing Intern handles day-to-day administration support to the sales team:

• He/she assist to recover receivables and collects unpaid invoices

• He/she assist sales team in compliance with the terms of the contract in the field of

maintenance (Who does what?)

• He/she prepares payments for the landlords

• He/she assist posting invoices in SAP software for clearing

• He/she prepares reconciliations in customer accounts

• He/she attend to walk- in customers

• He/she attend to customer queries and communicate such to sales team

• He/she communicates customer sales to sales team after consolidating, and analysing sales

results

• He/she ensures customer information integrity on master data

• He/she prepares debits and credit notes on customer accounts

The Sales & Marketing Intern monitors performance indicators for the sales team:

• He/she monitors the level of GMVC by customer and reports deviations to sales team

• He/she analyses the contribution account (NCA) monthly for each of the customers

• He/she reports all deviations, anomalies or booking errors to sales team

• He/she conducts a gap analysis between the NCA and the budget of customers

• He/she analyses fuel sales for each of the customers and reports findings to sales team

• He/she participates in daily customer deliveries planning

• He/she analyses diversification Non- Fuel Income sales on a monthly basis (shop and

forecourt)

• He/she ensures efficient customers administration

The Sales & Marketing Intern in collaboration with sales team, enforces, animates, develops and controls Network policies in the field of Top service; shop; food, activations and promotions:

• He/she assists sales team with the checklists to control implementation of the Network's

sales policies (Forecourt, Food, Shop)

• He/she assists monitoring station quality levels using the Top Service results

• He/she compiles action plans necessary to make stations compliant

• He/she supports activations, promotions and dealer operational challenges
