• Or Master's degree in economics / Business / Strategy Business with an interest in technical development/R&D.

Technical skills:

• Market analysis / Business intelligence
• Interest in sustainability and dynamics of plastics markets/applications with understanding of technical aspects.
• Strong communication/writing & organizational/project management skills.

Computing skills:

• Microsoft 365
• Power BI

Languages:

• English: level C1
• French: level C1

As a Business Development Officer (Circular Polymers), you will be in charge of :

• Market analysis and monitoring (demand, competition, prices, etc.) ;
• Coordination of customer development projects for recycled polymer grades, in conjunction with the other departments involved;
• Promotion of sustainable solutions internally and externally (customers, brands, consultants, etc.);
• Writing internal articles and press releases in collaboration with the Communications Department.

Context & Environment

The Polymers Business Unit (BU) of the Refining-Chemicals branch of TotalEnergies is looking for a VIE to join its Sustainability team. The Polymers BU is developing numerous solutions to reduce their environmental impact, develop recycling and produce polymers from renewable materials. Their ambition is to produce 30% of circular and biosourced polymers by 2030. A Sustainability project team has been set up during 2023 to help the existing organization dynamize sales of circular polymers.
