We are currently seeking a Cost Control Assistant, to join our Cost Control team based in Doha, Qatar.

About The Role:

Your main missions and responsibilities will be to:
  • Setting up cost control procedures.
  • Setting up budgets and the specific tool to follow the project costs.
  • Estimation of Total Forecasts, Quantity/ Costs and Expected Outcomes.
  • Providing risk analysis on EPC contracts, whenever required by the projects Manager or by the Chief Operation officer(COO), in order to point out the items with the most significant impact on the cost.
  • Commitment Control and vendor/subcontracts invoice approval.
  • Assisting Project managers in optimizing and improving their budgeted profits.
  • Preparation of change orders/ claims, and follow up.
  • Generation of monthly internal PMR / external status reports(Client reports).
  • Development of cash flows on monthly basis.
  • Involved in verifying the invoices to ensure its accuracy.
  • Development of statistical and close out reports, with a view towards improving feedback data and estimation tools on future contracts/ Proposals.
  • Complying with and implementing both company and client HSE management system objectives and procedures.
  • Complying with corporate Quality standards as stipulated in the Quality Manual and its ensuring.
  • Complying with the applicable company procedures for the department as they are documented.


About You:
  • Bachelors degree in engineering
  • 10 to 12 years of relevant work experience.
  • Good Analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
