On behalf of Chevron, a global leading energy company, we are looking for a Construction Engineer (E&I)

The Construction Engineer - E&I is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the constructability, contract award, and management of cost and schedule of facilities within Drill Centre E and Drill Centre D, alongside a crude offloading facility within the LNG worksite on Barrow Island. This position reports to the Site Construction Lead and is critical for ensuring operational excellence, safety compliance, and efficient project execution.
The role will work within the Site construction team reporting to the Site Construction Lead.

Operational Excellence:
  • Provide support and leadership to achieve an Incident and Injury Free Workplace through input at HAZID's and the induction of execution contractors.
  • Champion workplace safety with a focus on prevent SIF's. Proactively share learnings that are related to construction.
  • Ensure that the project adopts safety principles of having safeguards in place that are functioning.

Construction Management:
  • Support the deployment of fit for purpose work processes, guidelines, policies, and standards that will ensure technical superiority, quality of the work product, effective project execution, capital stewardship and efficiency.
  • Manage the I&E technical queries onsite and resolve technical I&E matters in line with project specifications.

Execution Support:
  • Ensure the Production Performance Management System is working effectively, and technical queries are resolved in a timely manner, drive A check sheets and manage redline markups.
