Controls Systems/Software Engineer

After a scheduled training period, this role will become Hybrid working, with the opportunity to work 3 Days in office/2 Days at home.

Our client is currently looking for somebody to join and support the ROV Assets & Operations team, for entire ROV & UID fleet deployed globally.

The main responsibilities will include:

• Knowledge and experience of Software Control Systems and HMI (Human Machine Interfaces) at all levels.
• Information Communication Technology (ICT) and Networking experience.
• Good Electronic/Electrical background.
• Knowledge of Automated and PLC Control Systems.
• Capability to maintain, install, update/modify and diagnose faults/issues with ROV/UID Control System Software, both locally and via remote interface.
• Diagnose. Maintain, install electronics (sensors, I/O Modules, PLC, etc).
• Strong technical ability with great communication skills, to be able to liaise with all levels.
• Ability to work offshore, if required, and make visits to remote worksite.
• Experience/knowledge of Offshore Subsea Survey and positioning and data acquisition would be beneficial.

You should have the following experience:

Required

• Academic qualification within a relevant discipline.
• Experience with Programming Software. (Training/guidance and support will be provided on our specific Software and Ctrl Systems).
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft and Computer applications.
• Offshore medical and survival certificates, (Not essential as Training will be provided).
