Job Description:
We are seeking skilled Pipefitters to join our team for a 5-week shutdown project at Saltend, United Kingdom. As a Pipefitter, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance and installation of piping systems within our industrial facility. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your expertise and contribute to a vital project in the energy sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of piping systems
- Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required angles using various hand and power tools
- Assemble and install piping systems, supports, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
- Inspect and test installed piping systems for leaks and other defects
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to ensure timely completion of projects
- Adhere to safety standards and procedures at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pipefitter in an industrial setting
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of piping materials, fittings, and installation techniques
- Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- NVQ 3 or equivalent in Pipefitting
- Valid CCNSG
- MJI10
- Pass a pre-employment medical
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
