JOB DESCRIPTION
- Provide Project Infrastructures Execution of Spares part delivery
- Maintains effective and proper relations with suppliers or their representatives.
- Places orders and determines requirements from engineering and production schedules,
- Monitors the movement of materials through the production cycle and maintain inventory at planned levels.
- Expedites the filing of orders by supplies to meet production.
- Administers basic procurement functions such as maintaining more than one source of supply, verifying that planned purchase orders link to demand, suggesting changes or adjustments in quantities to take advantage of price breaks and trends.
- Releases new requisitions as necessary for quotations and procurement to support required delivery of component parts or services.
- Participates in initiatives that will reduce the length of the supply chain, improve fill rates, and optimize inventory.
- Keep the Planning manager aware about changes in the delays at work centers/machines and/or routers that would affect the lead time of the part so that the system can be kept up to date.
- Review and release work orders per the system demand, manage the system recommended messages, as well as maintain work order dates that adhere to the metrics for the organization.
- Regularly updates work order due dates based on fluctuations in in-house capacity and the delivery schedules from vendors.
- Regularly update safety stock levels, order minimums and order multiples in the system.
- Perform others work-related task as assigned.
- Comply with all NOV Company and HSE procedures and policies.
- Min 3 years experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Diploma in Supply Chain or equivalent education.
- MRP & ERP systems experience.
- Proficient in Analytics.
