NOV is recruiting for a Project Manager to join our Aftermarket Programs Team in Kristiansand ! The Project Manager is responsible for initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing assigned projects, while ensuring to maintain a clear channel of communication for both our internal and external customers, throughout the entire project scope

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Project management and customer focal point for all NOV associated project work scopes: Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) programs, Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) programs, recertification, upgrades, reactivations, capital equipment exchanges, OEM repairs, rig/ship yard based inspections and other internal projects.
  • Responsible for all project planning activities including scope identification, creation of the Project Execution Plan (PEP), issuance of project certifications, while monitoring and controlling projects which includes risk management, change management and progress management, reporting and project close out.
  • Create and document required work scopes of the project such as quotations, proposals, purchase orders and change orders as required through the duration of the project.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with customer, suppliers and vendors, as their single point-of-contact for assigned major projects, which includes collaborating with both regional and local Aftermarket representatives throughout NOV, for support, planning, and project execution, to maximize the customer experience.
  • Maximize financial results by monitoring / reporting all activities to ensure accurate costing and forecasting of gross margins.
  • Maintain awareness of critical path activities affecting customer sensitive project deadlines; build contingency plans and implement recovery plans.
  • When required, deploy to job site and lead project from site.
  • Responsible for project close out including invoicing, handovers and after action reviews.
  • Follow standardized processes, policies and operational procedures from a global operations perspective.
  • Perform other work as assigned.
  • Able to travel, if required
QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and project management experience. Business Management degree is also preferred.
  • Ample project management preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience with planning and executing major OEM customer maintenance programs
  • Experience with third party accreditation providers and industry recognized trade associations, i.e. American Petroleum Institute (API)
SKILLS, TRAINING & SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGE:

  • Technical knowledge of all NOV drilling, marine construction and pressure control equipment is preferred
  • Fluent in MS Office Suite
