JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary:

Perform inspection and quality operations to ensure compliance with customer requirements, product specifications, Codes, Standards and quality processes and procedures.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work in accordance with ARM QMS and HSE procedures& policies.
  • Review supplier inspection reports, procedures, and ITP.
  • Review welders' qualification, continuity log, WPS and PQR.
  • Perform timely quality inspection in accordance with Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).
  • Perform timely incoming inspection of (materials and mechanical parts).
  • Monitoring traceability process and review material traceability report.
  • Perform required NDT inspection and review NDT reports (for inhouse and outsourced NDT processes).
  • Witness/ monitor PWHT process and review charts and reports.
  • Witness/ monitor Hardness Test process and review report.
  • Witness/ monitor leak test/ Hydrotest.
  • Witness/ monitor Load Test.
  • Check and verify Final visual & dimensional inspection.
  • Witness/ monitor blasting and painting activities.
  • Check and verify final shipment inspection.
  • Review supplier MRBs.
  • Prepare and maintain required inspection reports.
  • Monitoring and maintain the measurement instrument/ equipment calibration up to date.
  • Create Non-conformance reports (NCRs), when required.
  • Monitoring status of created NCRs and implementation of disposition.
  • Re-inspect nonconforming products/ parts after repair/rework.
  • Need to perform duty and another work-related task when required by quality supervisor and job priority.
  • Involve in internal and external audits.
Education/Qualifications:

  • Diploma (4 years regular) or minimum five (5) years in related field with inspection and testing experience.
  • AWS/CWSIP Certified Welding Inspector.
  • NACE or BGas Certified Coating Inspector level II (as advantage).
  • ASNT level II for MPI, LPI, RT and UT.
Experience Required:

  • Knowledge in reading and interpreting engineering drawings;
  • Knowledge in reading and interpreting engineering drawings;
  • Knowledge for reviewing of material specifications and requirements;
  • Familiar with API 4F, 8C, and 16A, and AWS D1.1 code requirements.
Key Competencies & Skills:

  • Good understanding of the Company Quality Management System.
  • Acceptable skills in use of inspection and measuring equipment.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Good skills in oral and written communications, fluent English.
  • Organized, detailed and accurate in work assignments.
