JOB DESCRIPTION

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Providing support to Service Engineers and Customers relating to equipment during operational and maintenance periods
  • Taking responsibility for the planning, scheduling and invoicing of jobs, projects and other office related requirements in accordance with QA and HSE standards
  • Contributing to the Competence Assurance system and acting as a Competence Assessor
  • Providing support, training and guidance for Service Engineers as required.
  • Taking part in an on call rota to provide out of hours support for Rig Solutions products
  • Providing cover for other members of staff on and offshore and attending meetings at various NOV and/or Customer facilities where required.
  • Must ensure that company policies and procedures are being enforced and adhered to at all times
  • Provide continual evaluation of the group's processes and methods, to assure the most effective use of resources and equipment
  • Provide day to day supervision of employee job execution, to include; training, performance evaluation and employee relations
  • Receive daily service calls and work orders.
  • Assigns tasks to appropriate personnel, and verify completion of jobs.
  • Monitor progress of service transactions
  • Ensure all customer documentation is completed and checked in accordance with client requirements
  • Support other departments and carry out other duties as and when business requirements dictate as may be reasonably expected by line manager.
  • Travel is occasionally required as dictated by position needs.
