ROLE and RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a Data Science Intern for our team, GSC Data Office - Asia Hub. This role is expected to: (1) learn the design, development, and evaluation of Machine Learning models to solve business problems and drive business growth, (2) work closely with the team on establishing scalable and automated processes for large scale data analysis, model development, validation, and implementation, and (3) work across business groups to identify and prioritize customer and business problems.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS: QUALIFICATION and EXPERIENCE

1.Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Information Technology

2. Experience in master data management, data analysis & visualization, data cleansing activities,

operation or business process analysis related to Supply Chain such as Manufacturing,

Procurement, Finance, etc.

3. Experience in applied Machine Learning and AI is a plus *

4. Experience with data visualization software e.g., Tableau, and/or Advanced Excel, Microsoft

Power Tools e.g., Power Apps, Power Query

5. Experience with data processing, programming ( C++, R, Swift, Matlab ) & database querying

languages (SQL, Phyton)

6. Experience in Libraries/Framework (( Pandas, Numpy, Matplotlib, scikit-learn)

7. Experience with automation e.g., Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is a plus *

8. Experience with source systems e.g., SAP or data migration, system integration is a plus *

9. With relative experience in project management or as a project leader is a plus *
