What will you do in this role?

• Implement the general Purchasing Strategy to drive cost reduction initiatives within the cluster.
• Propose and execute cost reduction projects and ideas (such as Quality value engineering, Change of supplier, Negotiation) in alignment with Purchasing strategy goals.
• Maintain purchasing database by regularly updating relevant data.
• Assist in commodity management strategy for supplier consultation, selection, negotiation, and contract management with local/specific suppliers.
• Lead activities related to supply qualification system in the plant as per defined responsibility matrix.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or equivalent is required.
• +3 years of experience in Purchasing and Project Management.
• Experience with SAP is advantageous.
• Understanding of Engineering/Manufacturing Processes is a plus.
• Knowledge of Supply Chain (Supplier Management, Cost analysis, Market analysis, Inventory Management, etc.).
• Experience in commodities like Stampings, Sheet metal Fabrication, Plastics, Electronics, etc.
• Proficiency in Project Management and cross-functional team collaboration.
• Strong problem analysis and synthesis skills.
• Proficiency in Excel; Database Management skills are beneficial.
