Candidate Profile

The requirements for this position are as follows:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, Advertising, or Business Administration. Master's Degree preferred.

• Minimum of five years of experience in sales, marketing, consumer goods, convenience stores, or any retail industry. Also, experience in gasoline service stations is strongly recommended.

• Proven Management and Leadership skills.

• Product management, program development, & supplier management.

• Category Management skills and experience.

• Strong analytical, planning & negotiation skills.

• Fluent in English and Spanish, written and spoken.

• Team Player oriented.

• Possess a valid PR Driver's license.

• Computer literate skills are a must. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, among others.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Conceptual, innovative, and decision-making skills.

• Possess strong problem-solving capacity.

• Good judgment.

• Ability to conduct business and negotiate with retailers from different backgrounds.

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

The SFS & Non-Fuel Product Manager will be part of the Network department where he/she will be fully responsible for the execution of all SFS/Non-Fuel business activities, including C-stores, Car Washes, Quick Lubes, and Co-branding in Puerto Rico and St. Thomas.

To support the department meets its milestones the SFS & Non-Fuel Manager will perform the following activities:

• Responsible for the direct supervision and daily tasks of the Convenience Store & Top Service Coordinator.

• Responsible for the direct supervision of the Automotive Services Network Coordinator

• Responsible for the launch of all programs related to non-fuel activity, ensuring the efficient and effective rollout of the programs to the sales force for implementation, including the management and implementation of all marketing initiatives for the department (Creating, implementing & monitoring of the plans, follow up budget and reach targeted levels.

• Manages the development of new SFS / Non-Fuel activities, and the related investment projects, from the initial potential study phase to the final implementation, in coordination with the retail sales team and other departments of the company (Legal, Technical Division, Finance).

• Create and update all necessary Non-Fuel Activities standards, procedures, guidelines, and tools, in compliance with group standards and local regulations; provide them to the necessary internal and external sales teams for the proper implementation.

• Ensures transfer of knowledge transversally within the organization by developing training programs for service station dealers and employees, as well as the sales force (food service, HACCP, category management, etc.).

• Prepares monthly analysis of non-fuel activities (sales/income), performs periodic reviews, and shares with other members.

• Develops plans to enhance operating practices and profitability.

• Manages the mechanism of SFS activities sales and rent collection, in coordination with the Sales Team and the Finance Department.

• Responsible for the management of SFS tools related to Front Office and Back Office systems.

• Ensure that all non-fuel activities and business comply with the Franchise Agreements (Gaps must be identified and solutions provided).

• Negotiate with the suppliers and make sure that the contracts between the suppliers and the company are fully applied.

• Performs periodic (monthly, quarterly, etc.) analysis of non-fuels sales and revenues, reviews results with Management, and develops joint action plans that will enhance operating practices and profitability.

• Analyze every quarter the non-fuels market activity (competition): prices, offers, new concepts, layout, etc.

• Support the Technical Services Division on all pre-opening / opening / re-branding activities.

• Post-opening visits to new sites to see if they are reaching the level of maturity and right on-site level of execution.

• Manages the Non-Fuel Operator relationship (when operator # from service station dealer) to ensure that the company interest is protected.

• Coordinates with Sales and Technical Services departments the transfer and relocation of SFS marketing equipment through the network.

• Manages and coordinates effective internal & external communication to maximize non-fuel business performances, capitalize on market opportunities, and ensure that all non-fuel practices are implemented within targets.

HACCP

• Ensure the respect of the general principles related to Food Hygiene, included in TotalEnergies rules and guidelines.

• Lead contact on food hygiene matters across the organization.

• Identify food safety concerns (financial, commercial, technical, and human).

• Share the guides of good practices and associated documents.

• Ensure the integration of Food Hygiene requirements into contracts.

• Ensure the reporting of significant events related to food safety.

• Coordinate the inspection program audits of stations (shops with distribution of fresh procedures and/or restaurants).

• Ensure the implementation of action plans resulting from inspections/audits.

• Ensure the management of the process according to indicators (resulting from inspections/audits and consumer complaints)

• Ensure, in collaboration with the training departments, the respect of the training plans in Food Hygiene

Other

• Other tasks as assigned management.

Context & Environment

To support our Network department operations while performing the tasks mentioned above, the SFS & Non-Fuel Product Manager will be working in an environment that:

• Fast-paced environment, changing environment, constant external and internal interaction.

• Hours are variable depending on workload and may include evenings and weekends. Occasional travel.

• Constant interaction with the Retail Department and all other company departments (Technical Services, Operations, Legal, Finance, General Trade, HSE), Head Office.

• External Interactions: service station dealers, SFS activities operators and companies, SFS product suppliers, and Communication agencies.

• Manages the Non-Fuels Marketing Department.

• Development of the non-fuel income to reach the objectives of the budget.

• Define all necessary standards and procedures related to non-fuel activities, in compliance with company standards, regulations, and business practices, and ensure the transfer of knowledge to relevant parties.

• Manages the Network's communication activities and budget under the supervision of the management and in conjunction with the Marketing and Communications Manager.
