Wood is currently looking for Maintenance Planner to support our team in Iraq/Basra on a rotational of 5/2 Rotation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Activities

• Responsible for all maintenance planning for all maintenance sectors
• Responsible and accountable to assist and lead maintenance planning team towards Production Unit Asset Leadership team's plans.
• Support, assist, coach, and oversee maintenance planning for "Bag and tag", Maximo entries, day to day work reporting, failure reporting and entry to system, 2 week and long-term plan developments.

Steward to preventative maintenance compliance and deviations:

• Lead and manage a team of Planning/Scheduling personnel in a safe, efficient, reliable and environmentally sound manner.
• Responsible and accountable for organization communicating client expectations on job safety, health, environmental and security to Planning team.
• Maintain communications with Operations Manager, Operations Superintends, Production Operations and Maintenance personnel regarding Maintenance and Resource requirements.
• Maintain good communications between Maintenance supervisors, Procurement, Warehouse and client functional and contracting support groups
• Ensure that all personnel have the necessary qualifications and experience to conduct the Maintenance Planning activities.
• Provide input to the development of Equipment Strategies, Maintenance Plans & Service contracts
• Steward and manage Planning KPI's
• Participate in ALT meetings to steward Safety, Production, Budget and planning & Scheduling performance
• Responsible and accountable for organization communicating client expectations on job safety, health, environmental and security to Maintenance team.
• Reporting to maintenance planner section head for all program and activity.
• Maintain communications with all maintenance team to prepare and check maintenance activity.
• Assist Operations in the planning and execution of plant turnarounds and facility upgrades.
• Participate in site Emergency Response activities.
• Initiate and participate in Site Emergency Drills to raise awareness of Emergency Response procedures, and conduct team debriefs on conclusion of the drills.
• Support the application of client Policy in relation to the Drug and Alcohol policy, Company Ethics, Award conditions, etc, whilst respecting and protecting the personal rights of subordinates
• Stewardship of work plans, schedule and daily activities to maximize work teams' effectiveness.

Skills

• Excellent communications (oral & written) in English ExxonMobil level 7 or higher.
• Highest standard of Safety, Health, Environment aptitude and cultivates the same in others.
• Ability to interact in a multi-cultural environment.
• Previously worked in a key leadership position
• Demonstrated experience in liaising with third party contractors, business partners and local communities.
• Advanced understanding and operation of Emergency Preparedness Procedures
• Good management /supervisory, interpersonal and motivation skills
• Advanced knowledge of safety management tools and processes (Stepback 5x5, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Risk Assessment)
• Understanding of Client Project Philosophy and Design Specifications
• Understanding of client Project regulations
• Solid Knowledge of SPID (Spare Parts Inventory Development) and related processes
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Computer programs including MS Project.
• Solid Knowledge of SDMS systems. (Shutdown Management System)
• Demonstrated experience in liaising with third party contractors, Suppliers and business partners.
• Solid Knowledge of Material Supply chain - Procurement, Freight Forwarding and Warehouse Issuing and Receiving systems
• Excellent communications (oral & written)
• Highest standard of Safety, Health, Environment aptitude and cultivates the same in others.
• Understanding maintenance management philosophy
• Understanding Maximo

QUALIFICATIONS

• 10 - 15 years plus experience in Plant Maintenance - required
• Post-Secondary education or Trade Certification program - required.
• 5 - 10 years - Worked in Planning/Scheduling position in CMMS (SAP or Maximo) - required
• Postsecondary education or trade certificate - required.
• Must be an Iraq National with Basra Residence ID
