Job SummaryDescription

ConocoPhillips is seeking an Associate to provide support to the DEI organization by helping to operationalize our DEI strategy and deliver on our business objectives by fostering an inclusive culture that values the rich mixture of backgrounds, identities and workstyles of its people, built on equitable practices that supports all employees in unlocking their full potential.

The DEI Associate will report to the Chief Diversity Officer and partner directly with the full DEI organization, Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), HR Business Partners and the HR function to provide operational support while creating and maintaining standard methodologies and efficiency. This role will have a direct impact on our success and be an integral part of the group.

The Associate will bring demonstrated experience in administrative and technical support, effective communication skills, presentation of data and a track record of building working relationships at all levels.

Job Description
Your responsibilities may include:
DEI Strategy:
  • Accelerate integration of DEI into ConocoPhillips culture and business practices (in partnership with key stakeholders)
  • Support implementation of DEI principles and best practices into relevant and readily consumable resources and programs that align to business needs
  • Serve as organizational change agent

DEI Operations:
  • Administer ConocoPhillips DEI efforts internally and externally
  • Partner with Communications to coordinate internal communications strategy
  • Maintain digital presence (internal & external)
  • Support and execute DEI campaigns, communications, enterprise events, workshops and other programming as needed
  • Manage calendaring and other administrative tasks as needed

Leader Support & Engagement:
  • Ad hoc support of BU leaders and HRBPs

External Recognition, Benchmarking & Branding:
  • Coordinate survey submissions
  • Support the evaluation of external engagement and branding opportunities (conferences, sponsorships, etc.)

External Partnerships:
  • Execute charitable contributions grant process
  • Support external relationships, partnership activation and branding opportunities
  • Manage invoice and charge back processes

Learning & Development:
  • Support DEI learning curriculum
  • Manage curated DEI tools and resources

Employee Networks (Resource Groups):
  • Support ERG local sponsors, corporate chapters and monitor corporate ERG budgets
  • Provide support to site/field chapters as appropriate
  • Aid implementation of enhancements and continuous process improvement
  • Assist with identification and execution of enterprise-wide ERG development opportunities

Basic/Required:
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
  • 5 or more years of experience as an administrative assistant, office manager, and/or executive assistant
  • Intermediate proficiency with MS O365 applications: Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams

Preferred:
  • Associate degree or higher in Business Administration, Human Resources or related discipline or foreign equivalent
  • Intermediate proficiency with SpotFire and Power BI
  • Completes work with a high degree of accuracy and a sense of urgency
  • Takes ownership of actions and follows through on dedications by holding others accountable and standing up for what's right
  • Builds effective solutions based on available information and makes timely decisions that are safe and ethical
  • Builds positive relationships based on trust and seeks collaboration across organizational boundaries to achieve goals
