What will you be doing?

• Signatory of the Audited Financial Statements and Tax Return, in capacity as member of Institute of Chartered Accountants in Angola (OCPCA-Ordem dos contabilistas e peritos contabilistas de Angola), together with the submission of both Tax Return and Audited Signed Financial Statements on AGT Portal

• Support audit of financial information for both accounting and tax.

• Prepare and review balance sheet accounts reconciliation, ensuring accounting treatment and policies have been followed and documented, providing clear analytical working papers, including responsibility to close out any identified discrepancies timely.

• Run Fixed Assets manual depreciation and review

• Prepare Capex Capitalisation requests as and when required, ensuring AOA ledger accurately reflecting the capitalisation value

• Complete the month end process, including prepare and book journals with supporting backup and raise sales invoices when required with appropriate back up for review. Together with appropriate analysis, including forex analysis reallocation as Financial Items, prepayments and accruals, loan bookings and monitoring

• Perform customer WHT reconciliations, monthly and annually

• Prepare Monthly Tax Provisions

We think you should have:

• Qualified Angolan Accountant
• Proficient in MS Office
• Experience using SAP
• Experience using HFM/Consolidation tool
• Experience in accounting
• Experience in Oil and Gas
• Ability to listen to positive and negative views and be able to influence and persuade others in decision making processes
• Ability to manage own workload to ensure responsibilities are completed in-line with Corporate timetables
• Proactive and flexible
• Quantitative and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to assess and resolve problems in a timely manner
