Candidate Profile

• Master's degree (5 years higher education) from a top generalist engineering school or university .
• Minimum 5 years of successful experience in the industrial field as Operations Superintendent, Production Engineer, Production Manager, Commissioning Manager or Start-up Manager in an international context.
• Rigorous, dynamic, autonomous, proactive, perseverant and organized.
• Demonstrating good communication and adaptation skills.
• Showing excellent analytical and synthesis skills.
• A bility to lead operational and functional teams.
• International mobility including missions and international assignments.
• Open to rotational assignments on construction sites and production sites.
• Fluent English is mandatory.
• Basic knowledge of French is a plus.

Activities

We are recruiting Operations Engineers W/M with expertise in areas such as commissioning & start-up, operations, or production.

In the project phase, you will be responsible for the operability of the installations and ensuring their safe commissioning.

Your main missions include:

• Developing and applying the operational strategy and sharing it for integration into various engineering phases.
• Preparing and launching tender offers for operation contracts.
• Establishing the organization, processes and developing the teams to operate the installation during the project phase.
• Securing and participating in the commissioning and start-up phases of new installations or ensuring safety during shutdowns or dismantling.
• Managing the operational integration of new installations with stakeholders.
• Preparing operational budgets during the project and operational phases.

In the operational phase, your responsibilities will include:

• Adhering to HSE principles.
• Operating installations with a focus on operational excellence.
• Deploying operational innovations.
• Coordinating activities (daily operation, subcontractors, etc.), including those of support teams.
• Leading and supporting the teams necessary for operations.
• Managing subcontracting contracts.

You will also have a role within a support team to ensure continuous improvement of the production tool and work methods while providing first-level technical support and expertise for installation performance.
