Candidate Profile

  • Master's degree (5 years' higher education) from a top engineering school or equivalent university degree (electronic engineering, energy engineering, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, complex systems, or generalist with a specialization in industrial maintenance), or master's degree in petroleum engineering.
  • Successful experience in maintenance and/or inspection in an industrial environment as superintendent, methods manager, Maintenance/Inspection Service Chief, etc...
  • Experience in maintenance optimization methods, GMIAO, and outsourced maintenance/inspection contracts, ideally acquired in an oil or gas application or in a just-in-time industrial production unit.
  • Knowledge of regulations and international standards.
  • For Inspection Engineers W/M : required knowledge of non-destructive testing in metallurgy/welding and manufacturing techniques, or corrosion mechanisms and corrosion control techniques and industrial painting, or knowledge of interventions in subsea environments and marine classification rules.
  • International mobility including missions and international assignments.
  • Fluent English is mandatory .
  • Basic knowledge of French is a plus.

Activities

We are recruiting several Maintenance Engineers W /M and Inspection Engineers W/M to work on large-scale international projects, with expertise in the following disciplines: rotating machinery, system instrumentation, or automation and instrumentation.

As a Maintenance Engineer or Inspection Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and availability of production assets, in accordance with their design.

Your main missions include:

  • Ensuring M&I engineering, evaluating equipment criticality and spare parts engineering, promoting innovation.
  • Developing and implementing Maintenance & Inspection policies and plans to ensure optimal operation of installation s with a view to optimization and continuous improvement.
  • Develop, optimize and implement the subcontracting policy to general or specialized companies depending on the criticality of the equipment's.
  • Being the user reference for the Computer -Aided Maintenance & Inspection Management System (CaMIMS) tool s of your entity in your field and ensuring its constant updating and optimization.
  • Being the reference on various maintenance and inspection optimization techniques and ensuring their implementation.
  • Constantly carrying out, managing, and optimizing M&I activities, conditional, preventive as well as corrective, routine based on regulatory requirements, the criticality of equipment's, the risks of interventions, in accordance with defined plans.
  • Establishing & validating maintenance and inspection reports. Participating in equipment performance reviews and maintenance scope reviews.
  • Developing the technical and Health Safety Environment requirements of M&I contracts, or Operation & Maintenance, directing technical qualifications, any clarifications, being the M&I reference point for purchasing entities, then ensuring the management, monitoring, and operational and financial performance of M&I contracts.
  • Defining and coordinating M&I work during partial or complete shutdowns of installations, contributing to the startup authorization process.
  • During major works, Projects or Shutdowns, a dapting the M&I organization (site and central or remote support) from startup to routine organization, supervising M&I personnel (site and support by integrating specialized and specifically mobilized personnel.
  • Promoting technical and organizational innovation as well as digital transformation in all maintenance and inspection activities.
  • For maintenance, organizing the monitoring/ Witnessing of Factory Acceptance Tests, Site Acceptance Tests, and commissioning activities, defining and carrying out commissioning and startup activities for new equipment's.
  • For inspection, defining and implementing the Manufacturing and Control Lists in the manufacturing/repair workshop and on site ensuring the necessary inspections for the startup of installations.
