RoleDescription:

Honeywell Korea is operating its business since 1984. Currently,we have five Strategic Business Group with nearly 600 full time employees andits revenue of USD 550M USD.
We are looking to hire the Country President forHoneywell Korea. This is a senior leadership appointment and will takeresponsibility for the development and growth of Honeywell businesses incountry, spanning diversified lines of business including:
• AerospaceTechnologies
• IndustrialAutomation
• BuildingAutomation
• Energyand Sustainability Solutions
• Honeywell Connected Enterprise
This role will interact with Regional & Global SBG/SBUleaders as well as 'C' level customers, suppliers, relevant governmentofficials.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Create a synergistic and cost-effective group platform tosupport the further growth and development of the five (5) operating businessgroups including Honeywell Connected Enterprise. This will include developingplans to allocate resources within the country to drive growth as well as building functions suchas Finance / Tax / Treasury, IT, Human Resources, Legal, Marketing /Communications.
  • Hold geographic (not business unit) P&L responsibilityfor activities in the country and be accountable for working capital andemployee performance.
  • Formulate, together with the Strategic Business Groups,the strategic plan for the country's growth and to build a superior business incountry.
  • Organize and coordinate all business activities in countryand leverage the breadth and depth of the company's product and solutionsportfolio to create a total value proposition to customers and employees in thecountry
  • Serve as a senior statesman and "Ambassador" for Honeywellin the country to advocate and evangelize the overall corporate mission andgoals with multiple constituents particularly government and public agencies.He/she is expected to continuously enhance the company's image and reputationand improve its marketplace position. In short, build Honeywell's brand as asupplier and employer of choice.
  • Develop, protect, and nurture customer relationships, andhave detailed knowledge of key pursuit status, including assistance indeveloping tactical and strategic plans to grow faster than market indices andthe competition in the region
  • Provide firm overall stewardship of the company'sactivities in the country, interacting closely with the functional leaders andthe senior management team in Southeast Asia, APAC and Global.
  • Identify and coordinate resources within and outside thecompany needed to support strategic commercial developments. The successfulcandidate is expected to provide coordination and alignment of cross-businessresources to support cross-business growth initiatives.
  • Work with other high growth regions to define strategicsynergies.
  • As a senior leader will drive teamwork initiatives and"best practice" values and vision throughout the organization. He/she must be astrong team builder and leader who is capable of attracting, recruiting anddeveloping local talent and drive diversity.

FUNCTIONAL EXPERIENCE

Strategic: The successful candidate needs to have a clearinsight into market opportunities and be able to prioritize business investmentand commercial development. He / she needs to understand the long termcompetitive environment and define where and how Honeywell will play. Must havein depth experience with the country market/culture, but also competent innavigating with an international business perspective with provenexperience/exposure. Minimumof 15-20 years of relevant working experience is ideal for this strategicposition.

Operational: Needs to create a strong platform whichfacilitates growth covering organic growth, M&A, customer relationships andcommercialization strategies (e.g. new customers, product development, pricing,etc). Strong strategy, visionary profile, but equally strong at operationallevel - this is not just "ambassadorial" role, it is involved in the executionof the strategy and roll-out of strategic corporate initiatives (growth oroperational excellence initiatives). Needto be able to roll up their sleeves, conduct regular reviews and directengagement with the team, partners and customers to ensure growth targets areachieved.

Organizational: Build a strong and cohesive leadership teamand maintain a high caliber 'united' leadership group and Honeywell culture.Strong talent development focus - ability to identify and develop talent,ability to build strong and independent teams, ability to create acollaborative culture where individuals complement each other to make a highlyeffective team. Strong focus on succession. The candidate will be responsiblefor hiring and development of future and existing key roles across all ofHoneywell's businesses in country. Will be the accountable leader to drive aconsistent atmosphere of integrity and compliance in all things, at all times.

Establish the appropriate organization structure andprocesses which anticipates and analyzes market dynamics to align with customerneeds. Mature, sharp and confident leader, must be able to build effectiverelationships and partner with / influence senior internal leaders (HoneywellSBG Presidents, regional Business and Functional leaders, etc) as well aspossess a proven track record of relationships and examples of utilizinghis/her network for successful business outcomes with external (c-levelclients, government and local officials) stake holders.
