TheSenior Account Manager maintains and expands relationships with strategicallyimportant customers. The Senior account manager is responsible for achievingstrategic account objectives and achieving sales quotas. The Senior accountmanager represents the entire range of company products and services toassigned customers, while leading the customer account planning cycle andensuring assigned customers' needs and expectations are met by the company.

TheAccount Manager will exhibit genuine interest in solving work problems throughproactively asking questions, clearly communicating and collaborating bothinternally and externally to grow the business. In addition, the AccountManager is responsible for understanding our competition and customers and showinginitiative to learn and continuously improve company processes.

DUTIES& RESPONSIBILITIES

Listedin order of relevance:
- The senior accountmanager will be responsible for establishing productive, professionalrelationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts, with a primaryfocus on 3-4 accounts to develop detailed account plans.
- Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, includingsupport, Customer Support Managers, Greenfield team, service, and managementresources to meet account performance objectives and customers' expectations.
- Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume, andstrategic objectives in assigned accounts, by winning orders, providing an easymigration path for customers, driving upgrade and retrofit projects,eliminating threats and supporting the GF team in project stages.
- Proactively leads a joint company-strategic accountplanning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financialtargets, and critical milestones for a one and three-year period.
- Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer'sneeds on an ongoing basis.
- Lead solution development efforts that best addresscustomer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary companypersonnel.
- Respond to change productively and handle other duties asrequired.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

EDUCATION& EXPERIENCE

- University engineering degree or equivalent required.
- 5+ years of strategic sales experience in abusiness-to-business sales environment in a technical environment withextensive work experience with major customers in territory.
- 3+ years of experience in a turbomachinery controls orautomation business
- Experience in successful Major Accounts Management in requiredterritory
- Experience in managing and leading indirect sales channels(channel partners)

KNOWLEDGE& SKILLS

- Business acumen, understands customer needs, how customersmake money, and how to link that to the needs we are capable of fulfilling.
- Commercial Acumen, knows how we need to position vscompetition, how do we price to win, how we structure a deal to win, and how wereduce risk while winning.
- Ability to mobilize internal and external resources to winour position to win and improve CCC's status in the overall buy-sell hierarchy
- Relationship development in high value accounts
- Demonstrated contract negotiation skills
- Exceptional presentation & communication skills
- Ability to collaborate and mobilize internal and externalresources
- Sensitivity to territory business culture
- High dollar, solution value sales process knowledge
- Experience with planning, budgeting, forecasting and othermanagement tools to analyze, plan and direct business programs.
- Proven record of success in sales and maintaining strongrelationships with customers.
- Proven ability to efficiently use all Microsoft Officeproducts and CRM system.
-Ability to read, speak, and write in English required.
-Ability to conduct high level sales demonstrations and presentations
- Abilityto assess and utilize AE processes and quality and sales methodologies
