This business line compliments the services provided by its parent company within Project Management Consultancy, Operations & Maintenance Consulting, Digital Services and Loading Systems, in addition to Genesis Energies, a conceptual engineering consulting business. This shows the strength in working collaboratively and transversely within the group.

Job Purpose

We are seeking an Operations Commercial Manager to hold responsibility for managing a regional portfolio of Project Management Consultancy projects across Europe and Africa, whilst providing support in identifying and bidding for new PMC contracts across this region.

Main Accountabilities

• P&L for regional portfolio of PMC projects
• Responsible for commercial execution of PMC projects
• Regional expertise and support
• Regional Support to Business Development
• Commercial and Contractual oversight/management on project portfolio

Job Scope

The Operations Commercial Manager for PMC Projects will be responsible for the following:

• Oversight and management of regional portfolio of PMC projects and responsible for project P&L (Profit & Loss) performance.
• Ensure project teams are managing the PMC contract liabilities and associated risks.
• Client contractual/commercial point of contact for PMC project portfolio (sometimes via PD/PM).
• Manage project PMC contract change process.
• Support PMC Business Development Managers to identify and develop new opportunities.
• Support PMC Proposal teams and estimators in bidding PMC prospects with regional input.
• Manage PMC profitability model for project assignments and retention process.
• Oversight and if required management of project ICPOs, subcontracts and cash flow and risk management mitigations.
• Working with PMC Resource manager for staffing of PMC projects in line with profitability targets/models.
• Co-ordinating with T.EN finance for project tax, hedging and bonding, insurance and LoC management.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have started their career in project management for major engineering projects within the energy sector and moved into the commercial and operational management aspect of portfolio management over the last few years. • Strong project execution experience

This position can be based remotely with regular travel to clients sites as needed. The new incumbent is also welcome to work out of our London of Milton Keynes offices.
