Digital transformation, as part of the R&C ambition, has been identified as a key lever to support R&C to improve safety, make its assets more reliable, optimize production and improve predictive capabilities.
The Digital Transformation Lead is the end-to-end digital lead for the business, coordinating the entire digital ecosystem, ensuring delivery of use cases/products and enablers throughout the lifecycle and controlling the value generated and associated costs.

The requirement is to provide effective support to the Digital Transformation Office for various activities to ensure the availability of the Digital Transformation Office to manage all use cases and products throughout the product life cycle.

The main stakeholders of the program are:
  • Domain Leads (Leader of the initiative for his domains)
  • Business representatives: OneTech for field operations, maintenance… Branch representatives for areas specific to R&C such as planning and scheduling…
  • LBU Representatives: Heads of Departments of industrial sites (Operation, Maintenance, Valorization, etc.), Digital Champions on industrial sites.
  • Representatives of the Digital team: RC/SG/IVM Digital Team (Innovation & Value Mapping), Digital Innovation manager, Data Officer.
  • Representative of the IT team (DSI RC).
  • Digital cost controller
  • IT cost controller
  • Accounting department

RC Digital Transformation is the responsibility of the Digital Transformation Manager and his deputy. The digital organization within my client is a complete ecosystem of actors which requires strong coordination in order to align all stakeholders and deliver the expected value.

Digital Transformation Consultant Objectives and deliverables. In this context, the DTO office must deliver solid performance in:
 
  • Stakeholder engagement (chairman of numerous committees)
  • Active portfolio management
  • Accurate value reporting
  • Cost control
  • With a proactive mindset, autonomous behaviour, rigor.
  • The objective of the consultation is to put in place the necessary support to carry out the activities of the DTO Office.
  • The service consists of two equal-time activities spread over the year.

Digital Transformation Office & Portfolio Management: -

Preparations for committee presentations: Gather everything related to write the presentation for all required committees: Examples: SteerCo Digital RC (once a month); Digital Portfolio Committee (once per quarter); Meet-up of Digital Champions (once a month), Digital Steering Committees with industrial sites (once a quarter with each site)
 
  • Organization of committees: set up invitations to committees, preparation meetings, manage calendars proactively.
  • Ensure constant updating of the portfolio in the existing tool and support the change of tools if necessary.
  • Ensure reporting of KPIs on a regular basis (bimonthly for portfolio updates).
  • With the help of Asset Leads, organize all processes related to value reporting: digital champion engagement, data collection, review and final reporting on a quarterly basis.
  • One-off requests (support for seminar organizations, etc.)

Digital Transformation Consultant - Cost control & Budget process for Digital costs & value generated by Digital activities. Assist the Cost Controller in establishing the budget:
 
  • Ensure effective communication with the various stakeholders.
  • Participate and coordinate the construction of the budget.
  • Prepare presentations for the various committees (COMEX, CDRC)
  • Collaborate in the preparation and sending of customer files.
  • Provide support to customers (industrial sites) to ensure a good understanding of budget figures.
  • Participate in the optimization of processes and tools.
  • Demonstrate the ability to analyse figures, trends, formalize key messages, etc.
  • Help build the Long-Term Plan:
  • Participate in the construction of the LTP.
  • Prepare presentations for the various committees (COMEX, CDRC)
  • Participate in process optimization.

Digital Transformation Consultant to assist in the preparation of the financial close:
 
  • Participate in the construction of the landing.
  • Provide support in managing budget variances.
  • Collaborate in the preparation and sending of customer files.
  • Maintain documentation regarding process, methodology and tools up to date.
  • Ensure capitalization on processes and propose improvements.
