JOB DESCRIPTION

Wood is currently recruiting for a Principal Civil Structural Engineer to work within a Clients office based in London. This can be offered as either a fixed term contract

The position will support a client's work on an onshore clean energy project based in the UK

The ideal candidate will be technically strong and have experience within the Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, Refining, LNG or Power Generation industry. Previous experience in a similar position would be highly beneficial. Experience with FEED is essential

Responsibilities

• • Oversee the FEED execution on a Clean Energy Project in the UK
  • Act as a Project Management Consultant for the Client
  • Act as Liason between Wood and the Client
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders, both inside and outside the organization
  • Ensuring the scope and schedule of projects are achievable within the given time and budget

QUALIFICATIONS

• Engineering Degree in relevant subject
• Chartered Engineer status preferable
• Experience within a PMC role in the past
• FEED experience
• Experience with Modular Construction
