1. JOB PURPOSE :

Execute ADNOC Digital Business analytics functions for the formulation of short/long terms strategies to optimize the operations of ADNOC Group in relation to marketing, trading and finance. The role also includes the day-to-day operations of the Panorama Digital Command Center ensuring analysis and reporting of different corporate parameters of Upstream and Downstream OPCOs like; supply, planning, inventories, marketing and finance using the integrated data platform.

Execute the Business analytics function ensuring sufficient integration of the economic aspects and operational objectives with specific reference to business data especially from financial, human capital, marketing, economics, etc. and generate insights needed to enhance and optimize business growth, value creation and provide ADNOC Group leadership with necessary decision recommendations.

2. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Utilize analytical tools in business analysis methodologies in any of the following: agile business analysis, six sigma, business process modelling notation or rational unified process. SQL
  • Develop business use cases that support the profitability, performance and efficiency of ADNOC Group through the use of analytical tools
  • Design visual representation of business information to facilitate decision-making.
  • Integrate different data disciplines into a holistic representation where inter-relationships are accounted for and highlighted.
  • Build data models that can be used by other stakeholders for multiple segmentation, splicing, etc.
  • Lead the conceptualization and development of the data platforms/ infrastructure for data extraction, preparation, and loading of data from a variety of sources over big data technologies. Lead the development of insights from the growing influx of data and integrate economics in fit-for-purpose, workflow-based analytics.
  • Develop decision recommendation from statistical analysis, data management, modeling using tools like Python/SQL, data visualization, machine learning.
  • Leverage the scope of analytics, data science and cognitive technologies to uncover data relationships and generate insights, to make informed decision-making and help transform the business by designing organizational intelligence programs and differentiated strategies to achieve enhanced and optimized business value.
  • Enable analytics-driven advisory on high return investments through building a vibrant digital ecosystem and improving the technical and business understanding, enabling analytics-driven demand forecasting to enhance capacity planning, optimize costs and integrate end-to-end value chain.
  • Provide an effective tool for business functions to extract trends and facilitate transparent illustrations to streamline decision-making processes in rapidly changing work environment including reducing costs, making explicit objective foresights and improving ADNOC operations.
  • Leverage automation, cognitive and science-based techniques to manage data, predict outcomes and explore scenarios and prescribe actions and drive operational efficiency by maintaining the data ecosystems, analytics expertise and providing continuous insights for business improvement.
  • Implement large-scale data ecosystems including data management, governance and the integration of structured and unstructured data to generate insights leveraging AI based platforms.
  • Manage the development of an integrated platform that captures and demonstrates the most relevant and critical data sources, to support the marketing and production teams to optimize the company's revenue.
  • Lead the identification of opportunities for improvement in business processes to ensure rationalization of stocks to reduce the costs and to improve sales with the market.
  • Lead the review of the data receipt and the major deviations highlighted, pertaining to the operating parameters, and recommend suitable actions to be taken for their mitigation.
  • Enable preventive and prescriptive optimization through analytics
  • Lead the provision of timely/ quality data to support the Integrated Production Planning and Data Analytics functions in building production models, developing 'scenarios', investment studies, problem modelling and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Responsible for the functionality of Digital system for seamless and uninterrupted data monitoring, validation and reporting activities.
  • Represent Business functions with VVIPs/ other VIP visitors to the Digital center ensuring confidentiality of critical data.

Supervision
  • Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.
  • Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective business objectives.

Budgets
  • Provide input for preparation of the Function / Division / Department / Section budgets, assist in the implementation of the approved Budget, and work plans to deliver business objectives.
  • Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control.

Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
  • Implement approved Function/ Division/ Department/ Section policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in order to support execution of the work programs in line with Company and International standards.

Performance Management
  • Contribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the Function/ Division / Department/ Section in line with the Company Performance framework.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement
  • Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.
  • Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with best industry standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function.

Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability
  • Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures, controls, applicable legislation, and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices.

Reports
  • Provide inputs to prepare MIS and progress reports for Company Management.

3. COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

Internal
  • Frequent contact with ADNOC Directorates, Group Companies.

External
  • Frequent contact with External Service Providers, Consultants etc.
4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

Minimum Qualification
  • Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science or equivalent.

Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Data Analytics
