Essential skills and knowledge
- Proactively manage stock levels of critical spares and consumables to ensure availabilitywhen required
- Receive, unload, unpack, and check quantities against purchase orders for accuracy,inspecting for damage
- Stock shelves, pick goods from shelves, record their movements, and handle data entryand paperwork
- Operating a forklift
- Ensure all direct charge receivables are delivered to the correct location nominated on thepurchase order by the required date
- Ensure the timely delivery of all goods to site
- Oversee the day-to-day running and operation of a small-scale warehouse
- Verify and accept incoming deliveries, updating records for incoming and outgoingdeliveries
- Perform goods receipting within SAP
- Pick, pack, and arrange the collection of outgoing deliveries
- Act as the point of escalation for issues related to deliveries, freight, or orders
- Perform regular work area safety inspections and remedy any issues
Essential skills and knowledge
- Ability to develop and maintain processes to track incoming and outgoing goods
- High Risk Work Licence - Forklift competency
- Experience using SAP
- Strong experience in warehouse and logistics in the mining or other heavy industry
- Holds a valid Australian drivers licence
- A high understanding and awareness of occupational health and safety
- Be able to consistently pass drug and alcohol testing
- Current national police clearance, issued within the last 6 months
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and zero harm
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
