Your role and responsibilities
In your role as a production equipment designer, you take on a crucial function in the further development of production, particularly in the area of our flow products. Additionally, you play a significant role in the advancement of our actuators, positioners, temperature transmitters, and sensors. Your influence extends from Minden, NRW, Germany to international contexts. You work independently within a team to develop new concepts and design production and testing equipment, actively contributing to continuous improvement. Furthermore, you take primary responsibility for our state-of-the-art flow calibration stands in the water and air sectors. • Conceptualization and development of production equipment/testing equipment with a focus on measurement and control technology, particularly in the area of flow technology • Creation of comprehensive concepts that consider technical, economic, and project-related aspects • Continuous improvement of existing testing systems and their technical support • Ensuring the seamless integration of new products into existing or new manufacturing processes • Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and external partners to develop innovative and efficient solutions • Ensuring compliance with quality standards and guidelines in all development phases

Qualifications for the role
- Completed degree in electrical engineering or a similar field with a focus on measurement and control technology
- Professional experience in the conceptualization and development of production equipment, ideally in special-purpose machine construction or a related industry (e.g. Electrical Engineer, Software Developer for Automation Technology, Mechatronics Engineer, Automation Engineer, Production Engineer)
- Extensive knowledge in the areas of control technology, sensor technology, actuator technology, and measurement technology, with a particular focus on flow measurement
- Knowledge in programming and application of control systems
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Fluent German language skills, both written and spoken, and good English language skills, both written and spoken
