This position reports to

LSU Operation Manager - Instrumentation

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to prepare, distribute, and store accurate and timely customer and supplier documents for projects as per the company's/project's procedures. Each day, you will ensure effective version control and status tracking. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting colleagues with advice and guidance on documentation control issues. The work model for the role is: #LI - onsite This role is contributing to the Process Automation - Measurement & Analytics in India. You will be mainly accountable for: • Managing documentation and ensuring it is retained in compliance with the company's/project's procedures, including format, receipt, registration, numbering, filing, retrieval, and issuing of documents. • Assisting in the preparation of the project document list, periodically updating and issuing the document list, as well as preparing and updating progress reports. • Contributing to process enhancements related to document management and applying the document management system efficiently. • Setting up the documentation management system and document control processes. • Studying and reviewing tender documents, contract requirements, and technical correspondence submitted during the proposal stage, as well as purchase orders (PO) once received. • Possessing good knowledge in sizing calculations and understanding process conditions, and selecting instruments (pressure, flowmeter, position, actuators) as per project requirements. • Preparing the Bill of Materials (BOM) for E&I materials. • Ensuring QA/QC documents and FAT procedures related to supplies as required. • Preparing final documents for supplies as per the contract.

Qualifications for the role

  • You enjoy working with tender documents, contract requirements, and technical correspondence submitted during the proposal stage, as well as purchase orders (PO) in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Water, Wastewater, and Industrial Effluent Treatment markets.
  • You have 2 to 5 years of experience in engineering documentation.
  • You are highly adept in MS Office (Advanced) and SAP.
  • You are passionate about problem-solving and have the ability to multi-task and coordinate with the team.
  • You hold a diploma or an engineering degree in Electrical / Electrical & Instrumentation / Electrical & Communication.
  • You are comfortable communicating in written and oral English
