This position reports to
Global Digital Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for providing customers with insights to mitigate risk and support operational decisions. Planning and coordinating the movement of vessels and resources from one location to another. Responsibilities also include checking and tracking vessel certifications, monitoring weather conditions, visibility and tides, emergency response planning, and interacting with maritime agencies and Coastguard. The work model for the role is: #LI-onsite This role is contributing to the Marine & Ports Division in Utrecht, Netherlands. You will be mainly accountable for: • Monitoring and analyzing the weather through interpreting weather models, observations, radar and satellite imagery. • Issuing route advices, taking navigational constraints for the specific vessel and route into consideration. • Providing route comparison and scenario analysis through consultancy. • Supporting in the heavy weather vessels process in close collaboration with the responsible senior route analyst. • Producing Post Voyage Analysis, interpreting and applying relevant charter parties. • Providing consultancy and explanation to customers following PVAR delivery. • Producing contra PVARs, including basic understanding of competitors analysis and the strength and weaknesses. Handling advanced customer queries, both via mail and phone. You will become part of a dynamic team composed of former seafarers, where you will have the opportunity to thrive.

Qualifications for the role
- You are highly skilled in planning and coordinating the movement of vessels and resources from one location to another.
- You enjoy working with maritime agencies and Coast Guard.
- You have 2 + years of experience in maritime field. Preferably working as an Officer, also prior experience as Route Analyst is considered as an advantage.
- Highly adept in issuing route advices, taking navigational constraints for the specific vessels and route into consideration.
- You like improving plans and actively contribute to the quality of the work.
- You are at ease communicating in English.
