RegionalPartner Business Director-Africa

Your role and responsibilities

Effectively implementing the defined channel sales strategy in specified market scope (global/regional/local) in order to improve ABB market penetration and realize growth aspirations in the assigned channel Executing channel sales strategy and initiatives within the assigned market, to achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets for assigned channel in a profitable way, orders, revenues, growth, margin, market share, sales productivity and customer satisfaction Critical contributor to the assigned channel sales customer base growth, implementing the agreed channel sales strategy and budget, contributing to the identification and achievement of appropriate channels and targets Contributing to achieving key targets (e.g. volume, prices, mix) for the channel in the specified countries and segments, creating detailed business plans, implement actions with regular follow-up Contributing independently to sales negotiations and negotiating frame agreements, identifying and evaluating channel partners (as per agreed ABB policies and standards including digital and excitation), together with Sales Director & appoint them Regularly reporting progress against channel strategy, planning and budgeting, conducting analyses on channel activity and takes ownership for solving problems, collaborating with Marketing and Sales teams and execute those activities that require channel/segment partner participation Implementing the planned communication, promotion and training activities in the channel/segment, driving strategic partnerships, develop personal relationships with partners, customers and other decision makers

Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in sales, exposure to automation
  • Extensive travelling involved
  • French speaking - not mandatory but highly preferred
  • Exposure to sales through channel partners would be a distinct advantage
  • Fluency in English language is mandatory
