Technical Sales Support Specialist

In this role, as a Technical Sales Support Specialist you will be the technical point person for sales organization for Motion Business Area in Beijing, China, providing technical solutions and advice on ABB products, systems, and applications. Reporting to the Sales Support Manager, you will be supporting local sales teams and customers by advising on technical options and cost-effective solutions.

Your responsibilities

• Being responsible in helping to prepare the technical and financial aspects of offers, including pricing and trading conditions
• Supporting the sales team by providing advice on technical solutions, products, systems, and applications
• Performing diagnostics and analysis to make improvement recommendations based on customers' needs
• Contributing technical details and perspectives in at various stages, and delivering technical presentations, drawings, and demonstrations of complex product issues
• Offering specialized training on products, solutions, and services

Your background

• 5 years of engineering experience on drive system
• Knowledge on low voltage drives, medium voltage drives, and wind turbine converter background are preferred
• A bachelor's degree or above in electrical/ power electronics
• Possessing good communication in both Chinese and English is desired, as well as problem-solving skills, coordination skills, cross departments
• An individual who is result-orientated and very responsible with strong ability to solve problems
• Ability to travel about a third or half of working days
