Your role and responsibilities

In this role you will be responsible for managing the global railway execution center, in GPG Packaging and Solutions in Switzerland, ensuring successful execution of projects for rail customers globally. Reporting to the GPG Project and Risk Manager, you will manage the operations team and are responsible for the profit center. The work model for the role is: hybrid# You will be mainly accountable for: • Management of the operations team • Profit center financials and budget • Support other packaging units worldwide during project execution with rail expertise • Successful project execution • Drive the performance of the operations team • Resource planning and team development • Continuous improvement of processes and procedures

Qualifications for the role

• 10 years of experience in project execution, working as project manager or operations manager with engineered packages and solutions, ideally in the railway business
• Sound knowledge of electrification and automation products and the railway market
• Management experience
• Experience with leading and coaching a team of technical specialists / experts
• Global mindset with strong interpersonal, communication & leadership skills
• A bachelor or master's degree in engineering
• Fluent in English, German and / or French is beneficial You are immersed in / engaged in /
• You hold current Swiss VISA/work permit or are eligible.
