As a Senior Surveyor, you'll be responsible for delivering work driven by excellence - and doing the right thing. We have a reputation for working on some of the UK's most high-profile commissions across a wide range of projects and sectors, including infrastructure, education, corporate real estate, retail, residential, aviation, and healthcare. As well as building long-term, sustainable relationships with key clients, you'll also be a catalyst for your colleagues' career progression.

Your Purpose:

• Work within a team and provide a range of Quantity Surveying / Employer's Agent duties from project inception through to completion.
• Prepare Estimates / Cost Plans / Tender Documents / Tender Reports.
• Ability to review tender submissions and subsequently negotiate and recommend a contract sum.
• Provide post contract Quantity Surveying / Employer's Agent services.
• Prepare data and reports to timescales in a format required by line management/client.
• Work collaboratively with other service teams to provide an integrated approach to client delivery.
• Managing client relationships and service delivery on a project basis, in conjunction with senior management.

What You Can Bring:

• Qualified with a BSc (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying (or similar qualification).
• Experience in NEC Contracts.
• Sound experience of working with both private and public sector clients and a working knowledge of construction contracts.
• Experience of programme delivery with quick turnaround projects.
• Commercially aware; you'll work well as part of a team and demonstrate people management skills.
• A knowledge and understanding of the component parts of a project and overall construction costs, coupled with a competent knowledge of a range of project procurement options.
• Great interpersonal skills, an ability to communicate effectively (both internally and with Clients), and a willingness and determination to progress your career.
