Bilfinger are looking for a Lead HSE Advisor to work within our existing onsite team. The focus of this role is to lead the onsite HSE team, ensuring safety, compliance and continuous improvement for all activities.

Main Responsibilities

• Provide Leadership and strategic guidance to the HSE team
• Provide coaching to safety advisors within the team
• Provide support and guidance to project managers on all matters relating to HSE
• Ensure all work activities are carried out in a compliance with company and site safety procedures, maintaining the highest standards of health & safety at all times
• Maintaining and promoting a Safety First culture, delivering TBT's and safety related training as required
• Tracking and reporting of HSE in line with regional requirements
• Highlight concerns and areas for improvement, developing initiatives to drive continuous improvement on the project
• Planning & conducting HSE Audits, ensuring timely closeout of any actions
• Promoting safe card submission within the team, monitoring all cards submitted and following up actions with the relevant managers
• Ensure excellent communication with project management, Bilfinger wider region and client HSE representatives

Experience & Qualifications
Essential

• NEBOSH & IOSH Qualifications
• Minimum of 5 years in a Senior HSE role
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
• Construction industry experience
• Experience in Nuclear, Oil & Gas or other heavily regulated industry
• Must be able to obtain Security Clearance
