Essential skills and knowledge
- Provide guidance to project teams in navigating technical requirements, ensuring deliverability, and complying with internal and regulatory governance.
- Facilitate the achievement of business objectives across the Bulk Earthworks and Civils Program.
- Effectively communicate delivery risks to the wider business and facilitate support to manage these risks.
- Integrate with various divisions including Process Engineering and Major Hazards, Maintenance Planning and Engineering, Studies Rehab and Closure, and Mine Technical Services to streamline project delivery.
- Oversee the construction of roads, tailings dams, and associated infrastructure.
- Monitor project progress, budget, and timelines to ensure milestones are met.
- Prepare and present project reports and updates to senior management.
- Advance the program framework including procurement strategies, lessons learnt, document libraries, resourcing, capital planning and reporting.
- Provision of safety leadership and promoting the highest HSEQ standards
Essential skills and knowledge
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the delivery of bulk earthworks and civil projects.
- Proven experience in the construction of roads, tailings dams, and related infrastructure.
- Strong program management skills with the ability to lead and coordinate multiple projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
