Job Location: Abu Dhabi
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Design and analysis of marine structures, including offshore platforms, floating production systems, pipelines, and subsea installations.
- Perform stability analysis and hydrodynamic calculations to ensure the seaworthiness and stability of marine vessels and structures.
- Develop detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation in accordance with industry standards and client requirements.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimates for new projects, considering factors such as materials, construction methods, and environmental impact.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external consultants, and clients to develop innovative solutions and address technical challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in project reviews, risk assessments, and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) evaluations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams during construction, installation, and commissioning phases, including site visits and inspections as needed.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory developments related to naval architecture and offshore engineering.
- Mentor junior engineers and interns, sharing knowledge and best practices to foster their professional development within the organization.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in the design and analysis of marine structures, preferably in the offshore oil and gas industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Rhino, ShipConstructor) and engineering analysis tools (e.g., ANSYS, OrcaFlex, MOSES).
- Strong understanding of hydrodynamics, structural mechanics, and marine regulations (e.g., ABS, DNV, API).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work on schedule and within budget.
- Willingness to travel to project sites and offshore installations as required
