Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- The Product Manager works with the sales and marketing team to develop customer requirements, develops new product concepts, develops implementation strategy, and is responsible for the overall product performance and cost. This role is charged with defining customer's needs to deliver a competitive portfolio of product offerings that provide customer value
- The role will partner with business leaders to accomplish priorities including being responsible for NPI program execution This role will also chair the Product Control Board for the Marine package designs and participate in applicable SPMT's. This role will work with the AEO team to provide Marine product definition requirements for the Marine channel
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or at least 6 years of experience in Project and or Program Management.
- Minimum of 5 years in Product Line role or equivalent leadership position
Desired Characteristics
- Background working with aeroderivate engines, especially in marine applications.
- Background with design of aeroderivative package design, especially gensets.
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Capable of planning and executing major initiatives
- Ability to define value from a customer-centric lens
