We are hiring! AtkinsRéalis seeks an energetic and highly motivated self-starter to join our Manhattan, NY office as a Regional Senior Director (Vice President upon candidate approval by Board of Directors). In this role you will be responsible for achieving business growth and client satisfaction across the entire business in the region, as well as project profitability goals and objectives for the Infrastructure Solutions Business Unit. You will provide leadership, direction and guidance to managers and staff in the region, and particularly in the New York City office.

How will you contribute to the team?

  • Take a leading role in establishing a collaborative and positive environment in the NYC office


  • Engage collaboratively with other business groups to foster a One AtkinsRéalis spirit


  • Lead the strategic growth and expansion of full infrastructure services for all BU's in the Northeast core region (NY, NJ, PA).


  • Lead effort to expand client base including the following agencies: PANYNJ, NYC DDC, NYC DEP, NYCEDC, NYSDOT, and NYC DOT as well as private clients.


  • Anticipated efforts include: preparation of business opportunities, SWAT analysis, and pipeline development


  • Oversight of IS Business division operations


  • Serve as the main decision-maker/authority in the Northeast on behalf of the IS business unit and in accordance with the Authorization Matrix


  • Achieve annual operational goals for driving growth and profitability


  • Driving sales goals through effective planning, positioning, and proposal development


  • Mentor the Deputy Division Manager through active engagement, coaching, and, where able, delegation of division operations and sales activities


  • Support (or lead) Cities Program for New York City


  • Key Account Manager for the PANYNJ


  • Work closely with our NYC advocate to coordinate their efforts in a focused and impactful manner.


What will you contribute?

  • Bachelor's degree in field of practice. Post graduate degree preferred. Management coursework and/or MBA a plus.


  • This level may be achieved by technical professionals or technical managers with 15 years of experience since B.S., with at least three of these years in positions with project management or operational management responsibilities.


  • Excellent technical and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to manage individuals and teams, provide leadership, and manage project production. Highly skilled at promoting the firm and negotiating advantageous contracts. Must have business vision, excellent communication skills, and be able to represent the firm effectively to clients, key public officials, and the community in general.


  • Professional registration in field of practice is required, if available, i.e., P.E., P.G., PLS, R.A., or RLA.

Expected compensation range is between $300,000 - $350,000 USD Annually depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.

Upon acceptance of an offer, all candidates must go through a drug screen test and background check. AtkinsRéalis is a federal contractor which mandates a satisfactory background screening report and drug test that supersedes state laws.
