This position will be responsible for providing application and technical advice to our sales and Field Services teams, both nationally and internationally during acquisition, commissioning and after sales. By joining us in this capacity, you will have the chance to travel to customer sites to provide direct input in helping them make the best use of the solution we provide. You will be part of an expert team within the Flexim business, a leader in the field of ultrasonic flow metering technology.

In this role you will:
- Perform application analysis on the basis of measurement data, customer descriptions or service reports.
- Identify and resolve faults with the help of existing tools and empirical values, including technical testing and assessing application-related risks.
- Collaborate with R&D in the development of new solutions for customer needs.
- Preparing and conducting training courses for customers, sales partners, internal and external sales staff and local sales units in German and English.
- Carry out on-site measurements and fix-it assignments.
Who You Are:

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Completed technical or university degree in the field of electrical or process engineering
- Sound professional experience in technical support.
- Very good knowledge of industrial measurement technology and of analyzing measurements and diagnostic values.
- Independent, detailed and goal-oriented way of working combined with strong communication and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in English.
- Willingness to travel globally to Emerson and customer sites (up to 70 - 80 % of the time in peak periods).
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Proficiency in German.
- Previous experience working in a matrix organization.
