Your role and responsibilities

ABB is pioneering technology leader in motor and drives which are an integral part of everyone's lives. Our drives offering is the most comprehensive, unmatched by anyone else in the drives industry. Currently we are looking for a proactive and dedicated Team Leader for our Motion System Drives organization. As a member of Research and Development (R&D) for System Drives unit based in Krakow you will become a part of the Global Motion organization making real impact on how we are improving our products and solutions portfolio. Provides input to leadership regarding technology strategy planning. • Drives and fosters a culture of innovation within the Team • As part of the Engineering R&D Team you will be also involved in product and systems features development • Support R&D Management within the planning and management of research and development (R&D) activities and resources. Support the development of projects and identify the budget of the specific functional area • Cooperation with different local and global engineering teams.

Qualifications for the role

• Master's degree in field of Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Power Electronics and Drives, Control Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science or related field
• Previous experience in leading R&D Teams and stakeholders management skills
• Proactive, open minded, eager to learn, act as ultimate team player.
• Engineering is part of your professional DNA
• Great communication skills; fluency in written and spoken English and Polish
• Business oriented skills as additional asset
• Domain knowledge on electrical drives will be an asset.
