This position reports to
Digital Team Leader
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects. The work model for the role is Hybrid This role is contributing to the Digitalization team in Energy Industries division. You will be mainly accountable for: • Work on projects for the world's largest companies in industry, energy, infrastructure and maritime transport • Preparing offers for our local customers as a main part of the job • Deploying the latest digital solutions developed by ABB and testing the new solutions • Implementation of solutions based on AI, ML, Digital twin, Predictive maintenance, Condition monitoring, Energy management, MES systems, Remote dispatching, Cyber security, etc • Close cooperation with automation, electrical, systems and SW development teams • Working with MS Azure/Amazon AWS cloud platforms • Having ocasional business trips abroad

Qualifications for the role
- You have a high school/university education in the field of electrical engineering or IT
- You want to work with the latest technologies and trends in the field of digitization
- You have an active knowledge of English or German - both written and spoken (level B1 and above)
- You are proactive, communicative and able to work independently
