Your role and responsibilities

In this position, you will be responsible for Motion Service Sales Support and leading the sales support team. Sales Support Manager adapts and implements sales support strategy in accordance with the global support strategy, ensuring technical and commercial support for internal and external customers. You oversee estimations, bids, and proposals ensuring alignment with ABB standards and targets. Leading, developing, and coaching the Sales Support team, together with your team you are responsible for reaching annual sales support targets, developing and maintaining a robust sales support function, creating short and long term plans for improving the sales support function. In your role, you will have the opportunity to play an important part in shaping our sales and building our sales management to meet the needs of the future. The location for the position can be Helsinki, Tampere, Turku, Lappeenranta, Oulu or Jyväskylä. The work model for the role is: hybrid • Acting as manager for the team of sales support professionals in Motion Service Sales • Ensuring and increasing team performance through leadership, coaching, target setting and active support • Annual sales support targets • Ownership and development of sales support process • Defining appropriate KPIs for the sales support function and ensuring application of common sales support management processes and tools • Ensuring high quality reporting practices of the sales support performance • Managing each sales support team member's performance - acting as a functional supervisor • Contribute in developing the next level sales and marketing team within the local Motion service in Finland • Member of the Sales and Marketing steering team

Qualifications for the role

• Possessing deep technical knowledge of drive, motor and/or automation systems in industrial applications is essential
• You have several years of management and sales (support) team leadership experience
• Excellent communication skills, good spoken and written Finnish and English skills are mandatory
• You are passionate about working in an organized way and taking responsibility, together with possessing a customer-focused service mindset
• Being adept in Salesforce or similar customer relationship management system is an advantage
• Willingness to travel in Finland (around 50 days per year)
• M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in commercial, technical or other relevant field is mandatory
• Proven experience of Finnish industry field is beneficial
