This position reports to

Planning & Fulfillment Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the development of the planning and fulfillment-related processes, skills, and tools. Each day, you will support performance improvement, including customer on-time delivery and lead time. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring adherence to inventory targets and supply plan optimization. The work model for the role is: Onsite This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Power division in Mebane, NC. • Create an accurate schedule considering the customer needs, mains service metrics (ROTD & Past Due Orders) and material availability according to supply chain constrains. • Provide correct forecast to purchasing team to facilitate a correct material planning strategy. Work with different departments to achieve schedule attainment, increase ROTD, reduce the past due orders by effectively communicating with the cross-functional teams and creating strong teamwork strategies. • Identify alternatives to ship short and ensure to create workflow and follow up until complete process. Analyze and adjust finished good parameters to assure SAP is reflecting plant current capacities. • Follow-up schedule attainment with operations by daily pulsing progress on execution to assure the production plan is followed as expected or to create contingency plans to correct deviations of original schedule. Additionally, follow-up on critical customer orders, from order placement to customer delivery to avoid further escalations.

Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in Materials, Warehouse management, Inventory management etc.
  • Proven management skills with the ability to optimize team performance and development.
  • Experience using MRP / ERP systems.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
