Key Responsibilities:


  • Handle reasonably complex/multi-technology Request for Quotations (RFQs).
  • Provide support to Front Offices and/or the tendering team when required, especially in relation to customer visits.
  • Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for complex tenders, whether technical or commercial.
  • Organize projects, monitor and control progress & budget, and assess & manage the associated risks.
  • Manage the entire project process from preparation through financial close-out and provide technical support.

Main Activities:

  • Lead customer technical inquiries when required by the tendering team.
  • Ensure the correct Terms and Conditions are applied to the tender.
  • Be the SPOC for the tendering and customer questions related to technical matters.
  • Lead the coaching and mentoring of new starters.
  • Review and periodically update the local quotation tools to ensure accuracy of tenders.
  • Ensure that formal risk analysis is undertaken.
  • Challenge internal costs to optimize the tenders, in close collaboration with the Project Buyer.
  • Execute projects in full compliance with Business Process and Toolboxes.
  • Monitor and control project progress to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Take proactive decisions and actions to prevent any slippages.
  • Ensure full & effective reporting of project progress & status to management.
  • Master Project Risks & Opportunities by assessing, identifying, mitigating, and controlling any potential situations that could impact the project's performance.
  • Take full responsibility for Project margin deviation.
  • Master Variation Order & Claim process for both Customer and main suppliers.
  • Challenge Project Buyer by setting objectives in terms of cost saving and lead time reduction.
  • Drive customer relationship and proactively communicate.
  • Manage the FAT event.
  • Establish key relationships with all business relevant stakeholders.


Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
