For our Competency Center division, we are looking for a Project Engineer Medium Voltage (M/W/X) who works for the region of Belgium, reporting to our office in Uccle, Brussels.

Daily tasks and responsibilities
  • Technical Analysis and Tender Preparation:
  • Analyze customer technical specifications and requirements for Medium Voltage projects.
  • Accompany sales teams to provide technical insights and solutions during customer visits.
  • Prepare detailed tenders, including cost estimations, timelines, and technical solutions.
  • Project Coordination:
    • Coordinate and manage all project activities, ensuring effective communication and collaboration between different departments (Design, Supply, Production, Quality Control, Logistics, etc.)
    • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring all tasks are completed on time within scope and within budget.
  • Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, achievable through consistent and appropriate communication and reporting.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Plan, organize, and oversee Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) to ensure products meet customer specifications and quality standards.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for improvements and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Ensure all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible for all team members.
    • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in medium voltage technology to ensure the company remains at the forefront of innovation (SF6-free switchgear, etc..)


You are someone who
  • Has a Bachelor or Master degree or equivalent by qualification in an Electrical or Electromechanically Engineering discipline (or similar)
  • Ideally has experience in MV/LV switchgear. A solid electrical background and interest is a must.
  • Possess a good knowledge of MS Office and being computer literate.
  • Has a fluent level of Dutch, together with a strong command of French and English to facilitate smooth communication in a multicultural environment.
  • Has excellent problem solving, excellent communication, time management, decision making and customer orientation skills.
  • Can read, interpret, and write of technical specifications.
  • Is a real team player, who can also operate independently.
  • Is an entrepreneur, flexible with a positive attitude.
  • Is proactive and open-minded personality with passion to work in international teams.
  • Holds a valid driver's license to facilitate easy commute and possible field visits.
  • Ideally you reside close to Brussels and can work from our Uccle office 3 days per week.
