The Vietnam service organization is responsible for maintaining over 1.6 GW of turbines throughout the country. Nearly half of the population is onshore, and half are located off the southern coastline of Vietnam. As the Service manager, you will be fully responsible for delivering on all regional service contracts and ensuring a qualified customer experience by focusing on best-in-class execution, advanced utilization of our teams and resources, digital solutions, and long-term contractual commitments.

Responsibilities

As Service Manager for Vietnam, you will report to the Service Director and be the P&L responsible for all service sites in Vietnam. Your primary responsibility will be service delivery, including supervising people.

-Ensure safety and quality foundations are essential. Work closely with the QSE department to develop QSE initiatives for the area. Ensure site-level safety practices and protocols are implemented at their sites in alignment with organizational standards. Set and define safety requirements, enabling management to support and develop a safety culture on their sites.

-Hold full accountability for P&L in Vietnam; manage site budget and cost allocations/management; and fully understand operational revenues, direct costs, CM, and overall health and trajectory of the area cost centres. Simplify and standardize internal processes and utilize innovation and automation to drive scalability and efficiencies.

-Prioritize objectives and implement strategies to achieve company initiatives as part of the leadership team. Develop the vision, direction, and goals for Service Operations in Vietnam. Mentor and develop area site managers; responsible for all employee development matters at the area management level (i.e. hiring, employee relations, CPDs, performance management, performance appraisals, etc)

-Ensure customer satisfaction and set a strategy for customers and operations in the area. Ability to fully communicate and manage customer expectations.

-Safeguard effective deployment of resources, processes and procedures, make investment proposals to improve the Service organization and actively support business activities to increase operational and financial efficiency.

-Proactively anticipate potential issues, challenge assumptions, and identify opportunities to circumvent delays.

-Ability to navigate, interpret and fully understand the site's contract (SAA). Ability to communicate and follow, when needed, with the expectation that items of concern or clarity are escalated to the contracts/legal department. Ability to manage projects. Create your development plan, present it to your area director, and ensure results and direction through the scheduled meetings you have established.

Qualifications

-Must hold a efficient educational background within relevant areas (e.g. Logistics, Supply Chain Development, Operations Planning)

-Solid experience and proven results in working with complex supply chains in a global environment and or large logistics service providers

-Experience/competencies within key account management and partnership management would be beneficial

-Experience in process, tools, and systems development & implementation in large international organizations
