The Role:
  • Full-time, permanent position starting September 2024 (or sooner if possible).
  • Teach Music at [GCSE or A-Level] level (please specify in your application).
  • Cultivate a dynamic and inclusive learning environment where all students feel encouraged to participate, explore their musical potential, and develop their creativity.
  • Develop and deliver a stimulating and thought-provoking Music curriculum that equips students with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to excel in music, both individually and collaboratively.

We're Looking For:
  • A qualified Music Teacher (QTS) with a passion for inspiring young people and a strong understanding of music theory and practical skills.
  • Experience teaching Music at the specified level is preferred, but we welcome applications from enthusiastic Newly Qualified Teachers (NQT) as well.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students from diverse backgrounds and musical abilities.
  • A commitment to fostering a love of music for all, nurturing individual talents, and building a strong sense of ensemble.
  • The ability to create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that incorporates a variety of teaching methods and performance opportunities.
